What are the applications of negative-pressure fans?
2022-04-15
The entire negative-pressure fan unit is designed using CAD/CAM technology and features low investment costs, large airflow, low noise, minimal energy consumption, smooth operation, long service life, and high efficiency. The automatic opening and closing of the louvers effectively prevent dust, resist water ingress, and provide an aesthetically pleasing appearance. This fan can both blow and exhaust air, making it an ideal choice for cooling and ventilating modern workshops.
Introduction to Negative-Pressure Fan Applications
1. For ventilation and air exchange: Installed outside workshop windows, typically positioned downwind to draw air outward and remove odorous gases; commonly used in chemical plants and similar facilities.
2. Use in conjunction with wet curtains: In hot, sweltering summers, no matter how hot your workshop is, the wet curtain-negative pressure fan system can bring your workshop’s temperature down to around 30°C while maintaining a certain level of humidity.
3. Scope of application for negative-pressure fans:
A. Suitable for workshops with high temperatures or strong odors: such as heat treatment plants, casting plants, plastic plants, aluminum profile plants, shoe factories, leather goods factories, electroplating plants, dyeing and printing plants, and various chemical plants.
B. Suitable for labor-intensive enterprises: such as garment factories, various assembly workshops, and internet cafes.
C. Ventilation and cooling for horticultural greenhouses, as well as cooling for livestock farms.
D. Particularly suitable for environments that require both cooling and a certain level of humidity—such as cotton mills, wool mills, hemp mills, weaving mills, synthetic fiber plants, warp-knitting mills, filament spinning mills, knitting mills, silk mills, sock factories, and other types of textile mills.
E. Suitable for the warehousing and logistics sector.
4. For use as an exhaust fan: Typically, conventional exhaust fans (commonly known as grain-blowing fans) have relatively poor performance—often, a single exhaust fan can’t even reach a few people. In contrast, negative-pressure fans are different; whether placed on the ground or suspended in mid-air, they deliver effective airflow throughout the entire space. For a typical workshop measuring 1,000 square meters, using four such fans will ensure that the entire room is thoroughly ventilated.
